New Project In TS1
This recent project in the TS1 area of Middlesbrough involved a range of exterior improvement works designed to enhance the appearance, security, and long-term performance of the property. The customer wanted to modernise several areas of the building while also addressing maintenance issues that had developed over time.
Project Overview: A Traditional Update with Modern Benefits
Our work included roof ridge repairs, the installation of commercial grade aluminium windows at the rear of the property, along with new uPVC windows and uPVC doors throughout. By combining structural repairs with modern glazing solutions, the property received a complete refresh that improved both practicality and kerb appeal. The project required careful planning to ensure each part of the installation worked together seamlessly. From improving weather protection at roof level to upgrading the windows and doors for better insulation and security, every aspect of the work was completed with attention to detail and a focus on delivering a high-quality finish.

Commercial Grade Aluminium Windows Installation
One of the key elements of this project was the installation of commercial grade aluminium windows at the rear of the property. These windows were chosen for their modern appearance, durability, and slim frame design, which allows for larger glass areas and increased natural light inside the building. Aluminium windows are known for their strength and long lifespan, making them an ideal choice for both residential and commercial-style applications. The rear elevation of the property benefited significantly from the updated look, with the clean lines of the new frames creating a much more contemporary finish. In addition to improving appearance, the new aluminium windows also provide excellent thermal performance and security. The glazing was carefully fitted to ensure strong insulation and smooth operation, helping to create a more comfortable and energy-efficient environment inside the property. The result is a rear aspect that feels brighter, more modern, and far better suited to long-term use.

uPVC Windows and Doors for Improved Efficiency
Alongside the aluminium windows, we also installed a full set of modern uPVC windows and uPVC doors throughout the property. The previous units had become dated and less effective over time, leading to reduced insulation and a tired external appearance. The new uPVC products were selected for their durability, low maintenance requirements, and strong thermal performance. Once installed, they immediately improved the overall appearance of the property while also helping reduce drafts and heat loss. The new doors provided increased security thanks to modern locking systems and reinforced construction, giving the property owner added peace of mind. Each installation was completed with precision to ensure a clean finish and consistent appearance across the building. By combining commercial grade aluminium windows at the rear with high-quality uPVC windows and doors elsewhere, the project achieved a balanced and practical result that suits the property perfectly while improving comfort and energy efficiency.

Roof Ridge Repairs and Final Results
As part of the wider improvement works, roof ridge repairs were also carried out to address signs of wear and ensure the roof remained secure and weather resistant. Over time, ridge tiles can become loose or damaged due to exposure to wind and changing weather conditions, which can eventually lead to leaks or structural problems if left untreated. Our team carefully repaired and secured the roof ridge to restore stability and protect the property from future weather-related issues. Completing these repairs alongside the window and door installations helped provide a more comprehensive upgrade to the building’s exterior. Once all work was finished, the transformation of the property was clear to see. The combination of modern glazing, improved security, refreshed roofline elements, and upgraded doors created a cleaner, smarter, and more energy-efficient property overall. The finished project demonstrates how combining repair work with modern installations can significantly improve both the appearance and performance of a property in Middlesbrough.
